Red Cedar Candle Holder
This candle holder was made with red cedar I sourced from my day job. Truthfully I didn't have very high hopes when I put in on the lathe, but thanfully I was proven wrong. The thickness of the branch worked perfectly; we got to keep some of the live edge and exposed a beautiful cluster of knots.The branch was also long dead and starting to decay. This left us with some beautiful blue stain which perfectly compliments the lovely burgundy of the red cedar.
