Sumac, Cedar, Pine Candle Holder
This piece was made with laminated sumac, cedar, and pine. I used sumac as the base because its grain is so interesting; the green grain glows with many grain lines to enhance the pattern even on such a small piece. The cedar and pine add a complimentary contrast of a striped design with opposing colours.
